Rule tuning

WAF rule tuning is adjusting rules to fit a specific application: narrowing rules that block legitimate traffic, adding exceptions carefully, and tightening rules where protection is missing.

Out-of-the-box rules are written for every website at once. Tuning adapts them to how a particular application really behaves, which paths take rich text, which parameters carry long values, which endpoints are business-critical.

Manual tuning is slow and rarely finished, so most WAFs drift: new features ship, rules stay the same, and exceptions grow until protection is thin.

Where Huskeys fits

This is the "Recommend" part of Huskeys: application-specific rule changes any WAF can enforce.
