Exposure management

Exposure management is the practice of finding which vulnerabilities are actually exploitable in production and shrinking the exposure window, the time between when a flaw becomes exploitable and when it is blocked or fixed.

AI has shortened the attacker's side: exploits are written and launched within hours of disclosure. Defender timelines (triage, patch, test, deploy) still take days or weeks.

Shrinking the window means protecting at the edge first, with virtual patches and rules validated against real exposure, then fixing code.

Where Huskeys fits

Huskeys closes the exposure window by turning vulnerability findings from tools like Wiz and Upwind into edge rules.
